Grand Opening 1994

In 1992 Mayor Mike Dow announced the "String of Pearls", an initiative to revitalize downtown Mobile into a walkable city. We opened December 28, 1994 and became one of those pearls, we're proud to still be a shinny pearl in his vision today. Thank you Mayor Stimpson and former mayors Mike Dow and Sam Jones for your dedication to downtown Mobile.

Dear Momma

I'm so proud to be your son, and eternally grateful for you taking this 30 year journey with me. I know you're ready to go to heaven and be with daddy, you're mother, father, and two sisters, but we're not ready to let you go. Downtown is a greater place because of you, everyone still loves seeing your beautiful smile on Sundays when you come by after church and visit with all the tables.

On October 5, 2012, City Councilman Fred Richardson, Mayor Sam Jones, and the Mobile City Council proclaimed October 5th "Mrs. Ruby Moore Day", at the Spot of Tea and in my heart every day is Mrs. Ruby Moore day, I love you momma.

Your favorite son Tony, 2~2~2023

Please read these Hot Issues carefully, if you want to talk just text or call me, thanks (251) 599-7120
